To disappear with you

Gossamer thoughts
lifting off
arising from
the formless pits
of consciousness

A thread
lands
somewhere
causing a tremor
across the landscape
I've learned to call
Me

Did you feel it...
too?
Have we touched
without...
reaching out?
Kissed
without...
trembling?
Merged
without ever
leaving
this sanctuary
of unspoken
love?

Even in this
gossamer moment
Eternity waits
while I turn off
the stars
and roll up the
oceans
to disappear
with you
in a place
called
heaven

  4. Beautiful writing - as always.

Gossamer threads - reminds me that the other day I thoughtlessly swept away a spider's web from the wing mirror of my car.
However - the very next day - it was back again in its full and fresh glory.

Clever little spider - turning my car into a trawler for his supper as I drive down the country lanes.

    Tingling?

  9. I love the words you use in 'To disappear with you' it has real feeling, and a very light touch. I find the line breaks slightly disconcerting though, they force pauses where perhaps they interupt the flow. That said the words are Superb. Thank you.

I have put a link to your page on the 'Blogs*' page of my blog, I hope you don't mind.
